This Rycote ORTF Windshield Kit faithfully adheres to these specifications, ensuring optimal audio capture and an authentic stereo sound experience.Included in the kit is a robust Lyre suspension system, a secure cable clamp, and a 145mm Stereo Windshield & Windjammer. These components are large enough to comfortably accommodate the microphones, providing an effective and versatile solution for your recording needs.A specially designed Rycote mounting adapter bar is also included, maintaining the correct spacing and angle for ORTF recording. This, coupled with the Lyre suspension and shared windshield, offers an unparalleled solution that is highly resistant to wind noise and unwanted vibrations such as cable-borne and handling noise.For those seeking additional protection against cable-borne noise, variants of the ORTF kit are available with a Rycote Connbox. Two versions are available, one with Lemo connectors for use with Schoeps CCMs, and the other with MZL connectors for use with Sennheiser MKH8000 series microphones. Each variant of the kit comes with a 5-pin XLR output Connbox that uses detachable Binder cables, with a 130mm tail - available with either MZL or Lemo connectors.
