The battery pack arrived with a 1/2 charge. Tried charging it to full cap (12 hrs) and it wouldn't go past what it had when it arrived. The battery has a memory and according to instructions it needs to be discharged fully before it can be charged to full cap. Don't know how to fully discharge it besides using it so I don't know long I can use it before it gets to have a full charge. LEDs on the side show charge level. Costs too much to have questions like this.

I use this to power my 5d mark iii. I have it mounted to my rails and I pop the whole rig off and put it on my sticks as well. I wish the power connection on the bottom was a more sturdy. I could see the plastic tabs breaking off. That is really my only complaint. I've also only used it for a few jobs so far. It's nice not having to pop batteries in and out every hour or so while shooting video. The p-tap on the side also powers my AC-7 monitor. I also love the fact you can shoot time lapse for as long as you like without worrying about the power.

This is a must have addition to the Switronic battery. It allows for hook up to the BMCC camera and extends the shooting time for up to 5 hours.

Switronix PB70C PowerBase is a compact battery charger. It charges the PowerBase 70 external DSLR Battery Pack and other select batteries through the powertap port on the battery.
Fully charges the battery in 4-5 hours. The charger has LED indication on the front which changes from RED to Green when fully charged.
For PB70/NP-L60/Ex-L96/XPL90.
