Handy for Location
Perfect for gym shoots when you gotta get a light overhead in a tight spot and don't have a boom arm and can't have a stand in the background. Also just handy to have in your travel kit.
The Super Clamp is heavy-duty yet lightweight, and can be used in a variety of situations. Commonly it is used in a studio setting, allowing you to hang your light on an overhead grid. The Super Clamp can also be used to mount your light or accessories on a pole, pipe, or stand. It will work on tube diameters up to 2 1/4". The Super Clamp has a rubberized mouth to allow for enhanced friction to securely hold your fixture in place.
With the included wedge adapter, the Super Clamp can be used on flat surfaces, such as shelves, table edges, and doors. With the wedge filled, the mouth of the Super Clamp is flat.
The clamp has a 1/4"-20 female thread as well as a 5/8" socket for mounting equipment. It also comes with a reversible 5/8" stud. One side of the stud has a 1/4"-20 male thread and the other side has a 5/8"-16 male thread.
