Great response. Works well for VOIP. At a distance of 24 inches, this keeps the bass in my voice better than my Blue Yeti. The Yeti's bass falls off much quicker at further distances.

I bought this mic for my son to be able to chat with his friends while playing games.Seems like very good quality. Plugged in and set itself up in Windows 10. My only complaint that the default boost setting of 50 was too low. Had to change it to 90. Didn't use the shock mount but it it very stable on the little tripod.

I was a little skeptical with a condenser mic for my needs, but this is an excellent mic for almost any type of recording. My recordings have vastly improved in quality, and I've even had customers comment on the high quality of sound since I've been using this mic.

The Samson mic works great and is easy to use for recording vocals and most instruments, in my case strings such as guitar, banjo and violin. The sound picked up from the piano was muted and not very rich, but that was expected. We made recordings with the mic using the Audacity App and created some CD quality tunes!

Absolute Garbage. Does not work with windows 10 or 8. I checked on multiple PCs. Don't buy this unless you, for some reason, have windows 7 and never plan to upgrade.

I had the same issue with the tripod mount as the comment below, but realized that the little metal insert in the mount can easily be unscrewed with a flat head screwdriver. Once the middle adaptor is removed (not sure why it's in there) the mount work perfectly on my desk. Audio quality is nice and warm.

If you expect this just to work then you will be disappointed. The included tripod is incompatible with included mic and wire holder so to actually put this on your desk you need to buy separate stand. There is no way to attach this microphone to the included tripod. Too bad I actually like the mic and it has good sound quality but included stand is incompatible and this is just unacceptable.

I purchased because I was starting to do a little voice recording and the cheap 20-30 headset microphones sounded like I was in a cave. I am seen this microphone on sale and figured i would give it a try after reading several reviews. Installed easy and sounds amazing compared to the cheaper mics.
