Safariland Air Science SafeFume Cyanoacrylate Fuming Chamber

The Safariland SafeFume fully-automatic fingerprint processing chamber is designed to protect personnel from the hazardous fumes generated from cyanoacrylates generated using the widely recognized technique of developing prints on most non-porous surfaces with Ethyl Cyanoacrylate (CNA) or super-glue. The unique SafeFume fully automatic processing, control and monitoring makes the development of fingerprints impressively simple. The super-glue is placed inside the chamber while evidence is easily positioned using the adjustable hanging rods and shelving system. Press the cycle start button and the cabinet's automated operations takes over. Its computerized system controls the hotplate, humidity, door lock, internal circulation fan and purge cycle. Instead of external venting, the cabinet uses a large capacity activated carbon filter to remove all excess fumes with an alarm to alert the operator when the filter needs changing.
