The backdrop arrived just as it appeared online. The metal tube it was wrapped around was ideal for mounting on 2 c-stands. The packing tube though had both ends shattered off when it was delivered. Fortunately there was no damage inside. I do wish they made these a bit longer. an extra 5 ft. would be great for full body shots.

I just got into Portrait studio photography and wanted to try something different from the paper backdrops that I ordered but never used. After my first time using it, I am completely hooked! I love how it absorbs light and doesn't bounce it back to you. I plan on ordering another color at 5x7' just to add some variety. If you never shot with this type of backdrop before, you should absolutely give it a try.

It's an excellent product. It hangs perfectly and adds a luxurious cast to studio portraits. It came earlier than expected and was securely packed and shipped.

I decided on grey so I could use colored gels and get any color I wanted, this worked spectacularly. The texturing is fine, and the aluminum core design very solid. Gone are the days of wrinkly backdrops, as this remains stiff. Minor issue: the canvas is slightly lighter than other canvases, so a crease does form in the center. Careful lighting and rolling up though minimizes this. I'm not sure what issues others may have experienced, but I find the quality unbelievable value for the price. Forget muslin, get this. It came well packaged, undamaged, and the texturing was perfect. While this looks great on its own, its ability to absorb color makes it perhaps the most versatile backdrop outside of grey paper that I have.

The actual backdrop is fine but not spectacular. The coloring does not have the pink tinge that shows up in the sample shown on the web site. There are some crease marks that will hopefully diminish with time. I was very disappointed in the packaging. It was sent in a long cardboard tube that was about a foot longer than the backdrop. The was a small amount of bubble wrap shoved at the ends but not enough to keep the backdrop in place. When it arrived, the tape at both ends had ripped. The ends of the metal tube were dented and it had to work to get them back to nearly round for mounting.
