Controller doesn't have some of the "bells & whistles," but it has all I needed. I previously had a Carbon 49 (given to grand-daughter), and have a smaller iRig Pro 37; but wanted more keys still in a lightweight package (both weight and price). I serviced musical electronics for years - there is a really wide difference in how the keys "feel" in different makes and models. The Carbon 61 has a good feel for playing synth and Hammond, but also enough touch sensitivity to handle acoustic piano patches. ( have a Kurzweil PC3X for weighted keys - but weighted is the word for carrying it around - it generally stays in one place. I used to carry two keyboards, stand, cables, amp/speakers around in a van. As I got older (and have smaller vehicle), I wanted something MUCH lighter. Samson, K&M lightweight stand, iPad, and amp/speaker fits the bill nicely.
