The amount of light you get from this system is better than I thought before I turned them on. The system is light in weight but strong enough for years of use. There is plenty of room in the carry case for later additions to the system. The lack of a padded divided case is the only drawback I have, but it has no effect on the system.

These lights are pretty good for portraits. However, the lights are not as strong as '500 watts' would suggest. Strobes are much stronger, but using these lights makes it easier to set up as the lights are continuous. Strobes require more test photos to get the lighting right. These Savage LED lights have clean, bright white lighting. Using the umbrellas spills the light over a wide area. If you need more focused lighting, you will need a light modifier other than the included umbrellas. Also, these are best used for portrait/head shots as the light output is not sufficient for a full body photo. I needed to purchase a second set to pump out enough light for full length prom photos. Good investment if you know the limitations.

Great light for the price, nice carrying case. Reflectors could be better, but like I said they were good for the price.
