Ideal for capturing spoken word for podcasts, livestreams, studio recordings, or live stage performances, the HighRise ensures an ultra-clean microphone signal with ample headroom. This pre-preamp is designed to boost the signal of low-output mics that are connected to mixers, interfaces, or standalone mic preamps with limited gain range. This makes it a perfect companion for microphones that struggle to perform at normal speaking levels or with soft instruments.The HighRise's high-quality preamp offers selectable +20dB or +30dB of clean gain. This feature increases headroom and allows you to achieve a usable level at the connected preamp with a much lower gain setting, thereby reducing additional noise in the signal chain. This results in the best possible audio performance for low-output passive mics. For enhanced vocal presence, the HighRise also features a +20dB setting with a high-frequency lift. A selectable low-cut filter is included to remove muddiness and improve clarity in the mic signal. The HighRise is a high-performance class-A design with a fully differential input and output arrangement, delivering an exceptionally clean and highly transparent signal. It operates off phantom power, eliminating the need for additional power supplies.
