Excellent quality, easy to set up with solid connection/clamp for adjusting mic position. No external springs. Nice long reach over monitor, etc. Cable management is not great but easily fixed with adhesive cable clips.

Does what it should, nice and sturdy, doesn't collapse on itself and has plenty of reach. Assuming it holds up (too early to tell after only a few weeks) I would definitely recommend.

I am absolutely satisfied with my Samson 48" Boom Arm. I was trying to find a good quality but less expensive alternative to two other popular boom arms that I was also considering. I came across this one in my research and the positive reviews convinced me to buy it. It has a great quality build and can hold microphones that are on the heavier side with no problem. I really can't say anything negative about it. The only thing close to a con that I can say about it is that it could stand to be a bit less stiff but the stiffness is very minor to me so it doesn't really bother me. At the average retail price it is already a great value but Adorama sells it for a way cheaper than any other retailer I could find making it an even better value. I highly recommend this boom arm especially for the price that Adorama is selling it for.
