Saramonic Mix-Adapter 2-Channel XLR On-Camera Audio Adapter and Mixer with Gain Control for DSLR, Mirrorless & Video Cameras

Whether you shoot with a traditional video camera, a compact mirrorless or a DSLR, the Saramonic Mix-Adapter is an extraordinarily compact and lightweight device that makes it possible to connect multiple professional microphones and capture broadcast-quality sound. It provides all of the controls and features necessary to achieve perfect sound in any shooting situation.

The Mix-Adapter is capable of providing condenser microphones with +48 volts of phantom power, which can be switched on or off with either channel. You can also switch each channel individually to accept line-level signals, like the feed from a sound mixer. Low-cut switches are also provided on both channels, so you can keep your camera from recording unwanted rumbling sounds. Two level control dials let you set perfect levels and gain boost switches enable you to turn down your camera's audio level for a cleaner overall sound.

The top of the Mix-Adapter features an integrated microphone holder with a built-in shockmount, which is ideal for holding a professional shotgun mic. A female shoe mount is provided, which is a perfect place for mounting a wireless microphone receiver, an on-camera light or other gear. A built-in metal camera shoe mount is on the bottom for attaching your camera and it also has a 1/4"-20 tripod thread for further mounting options. Clips at the base let you keep your mic cables fastened in place.
