this drive is great and I have no doubt it'll last me for years and years as all of my other Samsung drives have. It's very fast and was (when I bought it) very well priced.

The drive is still extremely fast even being dram-less. Doesn't run hot at all and has been extremely reliable. No issues at all. Consistent performance

Put in an acer swift x laptop. Was a bit worried since the laptop only has 1 fan, and the memory slot is as far away from the fan as they could have designed. However, it hasn't crapped out on me yet, even 1 year later! I use it for gaming and it works fast enough, and haven't had an issue yet.

Great speed and no worry of breakage, i have had samsung evo for 6 years, even have i had an issue, consistently adding more storage instead replacinging them because i know it can endure the test of time! I also appreciate how cool it stays allowing me to avoid that random bulky heatsink because it already has good thermals

My Personal Review - Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD I'm still pretty new to SSDs, so I don't know all the technical details. I just wanted something fast and reliable for my PC. After installing the Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB, I could tell the difference right away. Windows started much faster, my games loaded quicker, and moving large files didn't take nearly as long as before. The installation was easier than I expected-just insert the drive into the M.2 slot and set it up. The 2TB of storage gives me plenty of room for games, photos, and videos, so I don't have to worry about running out of space anytime soon. As someone just getting into PC hardware, I like that Samsung has a good reputation and that the drive just works without me having to mess with a lot of settings. I may not understand all the speed numbers yet, but I definitely notice that my computer feels faster and more responsive. If you're a beginner like me and want an SSD that's easy to use, has lots of storage, and makes your PC feel much quicker, I'd definitely recommend the Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB. It made upgrading my computer a simple and worthwhile experience.

Bought the 990 Evo Plus 1TB for some extra storage. I use it as a secondary drive in my custom PC and it's just as fast as my primary, although no DRAM, without any noticeable lag. Can't speak to reliability since it's only been a few months but it's been great. Health is still 100% in CDI with 14TBW.

Run my system completely off this and one other Samsung ssd. It's run great with zero issues. Never gets too hot, speed has been a big upgrade from tradition ssd's and hard-drives of course. And with games and other programs nowadays, SSDs like these are needed

Write speeds are super fast. I do a lot of video editing and gaming on my MSI X870 Tomahawk with a 9800X3D. Temps on the SSD stay really cool and steady. I also run two 990 Pros with zero issues.

The 990 evo plus is a very well performed piece of hardware, I got 7,200 mb/s when I download things which it does download fast in my option. 2 terabytes of storage. Highly reliable. Compatible with my eagle ax b650.

A very reliable and fast transferring memory stick. I use it was the primary storage for pc vr compatible games and it holds up amazingly, the size is very adequate for a general build but wont hurt having more.

I bought this ssd for my gaming pc and I haven't had any issues capacity is great but I probably should've opted for the 4tb but I have no complaints, file transfers are close to non-existent to waiting would definitely recommend

I bought the 990 pro m.2 and it has been great. My gaming pc boots up really fast. No lag what so ever. If your building and need a fast gaming pc the 990 pro is the way to go.
