Extremely fast but does run a little warm. The heatsink is plenty to keep it cool though. Very low latency and it's rated endurance is amazing

Even though this is one of the best SSD's on the market for gaming and A/V editing, it is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS how expensive pc parts have gotten in such a short period of time... This NOW sells for $1100.00 in 4tb configuration, but just 2 years ago, I paid $302.00 for the SAME exact product!!

This ssd has been amazing, its fast reliable and easy to out in. The device works both in a pc or in a portable form, but the device really shines hooked directly to your motherboard. Since the drive is very fast it can create a bit of heat so always try and have a thermal plate on it or air flow over it. I use this drive for all of my games and that is it, having a Samsung SDD to run your games will both provide faster more reliable gaming.

I've used NVME disks from other manufacturers, and the 990 Pro blows them out of the water. This disk is fat, build quality is top notch. The endurance rating is awesome, latency and thermals exceed expectations. Throughout both during burst and sustained reads and wrights is amazing!

The 990pro ssd has been pretty solid thus far. Whether for gaming or adding a new OS it's pretty fast. I'm on AM4 for my motherboard but when I upgrade to AM5 or 6 I'm taking the SSD with me

Had this for about a few years now. Amazing and efficient storage enough for all my apps and games! I check temps constantly and this is a beast with 870 motherboard, definitely wouldn't need to replace for years!

I highly recommend this it's super fast, latency is great. I haven't had any problems no overheating. I switched my Kingston out for this as it ran better so it is my main memory. Throughput is excellent I have filled it up, move data to a different storage and this thing 100 times and it's still going just as strong as it did when I first bought it. I have used it in my laptop and now it is my main and my desktop. So great compatibility with different machines.

My 990 pro m.2 4TB w/heatsink has surpassed my expectations it has out performed any other ssd I have ever purchased in the past plus it fits in my laptop with plenty of room. I will continue to purchase from Samsung only because it is the best in the market! Bought this for my ps5 pro and I love it. It allows me to download a ton of games without worrying about space which was an issue in the past. Its speed is just as fast as the ps5 internal memory. Definitely worth the purchase!

I love my 990 pro. It's been running well since installing it earlier this year. I installed Steam OS as soon as it became available. Ot installed perfectly onto my motherboard directly in the 1st of 4 NVME slots.

I've been samsung disk drives fan since hdd... in my latest gaming computer I have a 990 pro of 4tb.... it's lighting fast, and I have ever had any issues with samsung disks.

Well priced when I got it, very fast, very reliable and long lasting of course it has good storage, I love the features in the software. Only complaints are that there is less support for the amd platfrom and the heatsink has an untoggleable red led which is a nuisance for me but may not matter to others. As far as thermals, this one comes with its own heatsink but id rather have one than not, its got a very strong style.

Since the day I installed it into my Playstation 5 pro the performance has increased tenfold... the loading speeds are really fast... and i dont get heating issues even when I have it on for long periods.
