The drive I have running in my PC is a 990 Pro at 4TB. This thing stores so much, speeds are snappy, reaction is great. The thermals are okay on the drive, as the drive does run hot, but it holds fine in my SFF PC. It is a consistent and efficient drive that allows a lot of quick low-latent whenever my system needs it!

packaging was simple and effective, install was quick and painless, going from a ssd to nvme made a huge and very apparent improvement to my system, windows boot and game loading are near instant, speed is insane and very affordable

Got it as a wedding gift for my Playstation 5 and it is great! The loading speeds are phenomenal and I finally have enough space for my game library. Not to mention it just looks really cool. I love this thing and I recommend it to anyone looking to expand their gaming storage!

I really enjoy my ssd it's saved me well and i still use it in all my new builds it's a solid ssd. i would get another one. its thermals are well and its input is so fast i load up games so quickly . it's a strong hardware that constantly does well. i'd recommend this to whoever wants a fast and consistent and enduring ssd.

The thermals are great especially under heavy load. The speeds have good consistency. The latency isn't bad either. The ssd has good endurance as well. And its throughput is good too.

Happy with my 2 x 1TB 990 Pros. Giving them in my NAS 1 as the OS drive, one as a read-write cache. Definitely picking up a 2TB for my laptop soon.

The read speed and write speed are phenomenal and help run Windows smoother than ever, as well as providing an app to monitor its health, something the 2.5 SSDs don't offer. All and all, it's really good for running an OS and probably amazing for large projects as well, but I'll never know since I don't want them conflicting with Windows.

Used this new drive as a larger replacement for my C:/ drive (OS drive) in my Dell XPS 8930 desktop system. So far, this thing works great and is amazingly fast. My system originally came with a 256GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD drive. But, I was very close to the max limit on that drive and I was having trouble finding anything more to move to my secondary data drive. I also didn't really relish the idea of having to do a fresh windows 11 install and having to reload all my apps, data and everything else. I keep my system throughly updated and cleaned up, so I wasn't dealing with an old, bloated, slow install. I went with Samsung for this new SSD, for two reasons. First, I've bought Samsung drives before and was always impressed. But, most of all, because I was familiar with the Samsung Magician software that you can download free to do the data migration (cloning), as well as other ongoing drive maintenance. This free software will only allow you to transfer to a Samsung drive, so it's a no-go if you buy a different brand of drive. As expected, the Samsung Magician software is very good (now in Version 9.0) and it made the cloning of my old C: drive an easy and quick job. My old drive had nearly 220GB of data to be migrated to my new drive and it all happened in a little more than an hour. It copies and transfers every single bit of data from the original drive. Once it says the transfer has completed, you just shut it all down, transfer the new drive into your original C: drive socket and power back up. Everything is exactly the same as it was when you started. I had to use a UGREEN NVMe M.2 enclosure plugged into my computer through a USB port for the cloning operation, as my Dell desktop computer only has one NVMe M.2 slot. That was also purchased through Amazon for less than $20. So far, this new SSD drive is super fast and hasn't missed a beat since it was powered up. I highly recommend Samsung drives.

I got the Samsung 990 Pro 2TB variant in 2024 and the speeds were super fast paired with my Asus ROG Strix G16 gaming unit. Read and write speeds were always consistent and the Samsung Magic app is a nice touch to check the drive's temps and keep it up-to-date with the latest firmware, very efficient piece of software. I have had no issues and failures with the drive over the past 2 years of purchasing it and it has moved between 2 devices so I would figure it is very reliable. My next investment is to get the 9100 Pro 8TB variant to store my huge catalogue of video content.
