Sounds great, arrived quickly.

Great sound, my setup is fed into a Focusrite Scarlet 18i6. I enjoy the integrated pop reducer and bundled shock mount. Shout out to Adorame- standard shipping arrived in two days. That was a suppose and exceeded expectation.

Sounds great especially for price

Some of the best microphones are quite expensive and that has always been my reservation when it comes to cheaper microphones and yes I do mean microphones $ or less. This is a great microphone for maybe a bit of song vocals but primarily voiceovers. I do recommend finding this on sale like I did but overall my rating is based on the retail price point. Pros: - shock mount is fantastic - XLR phantom power - great dynamic range and audio quality - audio has plenty of room for post-editing to give it that pro sound even without a sound booth Cons: - pop filter kind of small but works since you put your mouth right next to the mic - would have been lovely to receive a tabletop mic mount included but otherwise fits the standard size Overall, especially if grabbed on sale, a few accessories can solve my "cons" and the pros are too fantastic to pass up. Off sale, it's still a great microphone worth the price. Perfect for voiceovers, radio, and maybe some song vocals.

Worth every penny...

So I got this on sale, probably half off regular price (which is a price that can often be found if you search)... So, consider that with the following statements. There is nowhere you are going to get a condenser mic with a shock mount and pop filter for this price. Even at regular price, I would still consider this a good (not great) buy. I use this for voice over work when live streaming. I have a system that is setup at a public venue. I bought this because I wanted an inexpensive mic that I could leave packed with my gear, and not be taking out some of my more expensive mics. It has great sound for my purposes. It has good off axis rejection, which is nice as I leave the mic on, with an expander inserted, and just move to it when I need to use it. And for this reason, I also really like its proximity effect. Get up on the pop screen and you get big voice-over sound... get off of it a bit and you drop out the bottom. I did try it with other sources just to test it, and I wouldn't choose to use it for an instrument mic, as I have better mics with a bit more top end and clarity. I even think it was a little lacking when I had a female try it, as it just didn't have the presence I would normally get with other microphones. If you are vlogger, you may want to consider that there are really good mics that you can get that have USB (I have several), and appreciate the convenience... this is XLR and you will need to be sending it to a pre-amp or mixer, and you will need phantom power. In fairness for review purposes, I am going to give this a 4-star rating for some of the negatives I listed above. Honestly, it was a five-star fit to my needs, but those were pretty narrow, and will not likely fit everyone. For a male voice, I think this is a good buy. Outside of that I would probably consider other options.

I remember when I used to record myself on a tape recorder or some mic, I would listen to the playback but could not even recognize my own voice! Well, that's because it was a crappy mic! That is not the case with this mic! The sensitivity on this mic is amazing.

Good mic at a great price

This mic feels like it is a very high quality piece of hardware. It is somewhat heavy but feels extremely durable. It is my first condenser mic, so I don't have anything to compare it to in terms of audio quality. But I have been very pleased with the recordings made with it. The cardioid pickup pattern does allow the mic to be strategically placed to focus on what you are recording. The shockmount helps greatly to reduce noise transmission through the mic stand. It is constructed using a simple wire frame and an elastic band similar to a hair band. The pop filter seems a little gimmicky by the way it clips onto the mic, but it gets the job done. Overall, I think it is an excellent value and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a mic in this price point.
