Shopper : Will this stand hold ENERGY CB-5 Speakers?SAMUEL T : The CB-5 speakers weigh 6.6 pounds and the speaker stands can hold up to 10 pounds so it should be sturdy enough, but the width and depth of the speakers of 5.7 in and 7.9 in could cause things to not be as well balanced. I was using Polk RM8 speakers which are 4.25 in wide and weigh only 2.8 pounds. The size of the triangle base of the stand is 12 in on each side and the measurement from the corner to the opposite side is 9.5 in. With the height, the RM8 seemed to be balanced okay, but with the CB-5, it may not be as well balanced and could tip over if you have kids or pets.
