Good budget and portable choice
The umbrella does the job. it?s lightweight and comes with a storage sleeve for protection when not it use. It?s about the same size as a standard rain umbrella when it?s open, so it?s not too overwhelming to use. I?ve had it for a few weeks now and tested it on several shoots. Its given me great results and I didn?t break the piggy bank to buy. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Simple as it gets
Keep it simple and an umbrella is as simple a lighting tool as you can get. Got the price great first tool.

Great value for a simple light modifier.
It does everything you want a reflective umbrella to do and at a budget price. It isn’t a tank and if I was a pro using it everyday it might not survive the long haul but for an avid amateur looking to outfit a home studio it is just right. Photographic gear is expensive, get this umbrella and save some money for some better glass or a sturdier tripod.

Savage light umbrella
I usually shoot with two lights in the studio, but have decided to add a third light when necessary to replace using bounced light.
The Savage 30" Umbrella with black is well built and does the job for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it, but recommend Adorama even more for any of your needs. I'm located 250 miles for any photo store so have to trust the people that I do mail business with.

Works as good as my other Translucent Unbrella
I needed a second 40" plus Translucent Umbrella for an all day portrait shoot, so picked this up on sale. It did as well if not better (one stop less) than my $40 Translucent Umbrella. If your new to portrait shooting (or full body shots) it is a real deal.

It does the job
I don't use exterior lighting often so I wasn't ready to invest in expensive umbrellas just yet. I ordered this umbrella because of the low cost and expected maybe 6-months out of it. I've actually used it for over a year, traveled with it to destination weddings and haven't had one issue with it. It's a great beginner umbrella for the price.

You get what you paid for!
It's a cheap, transparent umbrella. Definitely not built to last! In fact, mine came with a pre-bent pole!

You get what you pay for, poorly made. The pole/shaft is hollow plastic & it did come with a holder, but it is coming apart upon delivery. Once again, you get what you pay for.

Better than expected
I ordered this as well as a Westcott umbrella. If you don’t need the black cover, and just want a shoot through, this is a great way to go. Inexpensive enough that if you messed one up you could get another and not be too miffed about it.

OK, But was the size was misstated
Rating the 36" umbrella. Not bad for the price. Very lightweight, but does not have a strap to hold the umbrella together when rolled. Originally, I think this listing was misstated as 36", which it wasn't. they sent a 43". I had to go thru the trouble of taking pictures of it and mailing it back

Savage umbrella
I bought two of these umbrellas and I am very satisfied with their performance. Furthermore, the price for an umbrella of this size is excellent! I feel you can't go wrong with this umbrella and it has the Savage name on it.

Cheap and acts like it
I chose this mainly because it looked less opaque which was what I wanted. It works acceptably but the cap on the end of the center rod keeps getting hung up in my light bracket and ends up pulling out and falling on the floor. It works otherwise but the rod will eventually end up dented and bent it's so flimsy. Buy it if you plan on replacing it soon.

It is what it is.
A Black white umbrella, 43" is pretty large I think so can be a little cumbersome to handle but the light quality is nice and soft.
Nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about either. Good value for money.
