I bought this to use with an iPad running Avid's Control app in an Avid Dock. Doesn't work with an iPad. I tried it on a couple of different iPads but no luck. Works with an iPhone fine, passes data, but only passes power on an iPad. Maybe the manufacturer can shed some light on this.

Did somebody design a smartphone with a camera so dope you want to put it on a gimbal? Did that same somebody put the only port in an inaccessible place? This could help, especially if you're trying to run some audio into that thing.

Works great! I was a little worried when I was looking for a 90 degree lightning cable, there’s a few questionable ones on Amazon. The one from Adorama is quality and works exactly as described.

A great accessory that is the only one that sends all the lightning capabilities down at a right angle without splitting them out as well.

Good news! This right angle Lightning adapter cable actually works! I tried two other variants purchased elsewhere, that didn't. Use for connecting and mounting microphone on Smooth 4 - very effective.
