Plugs into any iPhone with the case on! (Main reason for purchase) 
 
Cons 
Has no way to set or save the mic gain level. This result in a significant amount of noise. However it can be removed in post. 
 
The moment app lets you change the mic gain level for the iPhone but has no way to save it as a preset. So you need to set it every time you plug the mic in. 
 
It can move very easily and this is picked up heavily in the audio. 
 
The Shure MV88 sounds better and has heaps of configuration options. Personally I would suggest saving for the Shure MV88+ if you need a mic that works with a case.

It?s good for the price.

Convenient to connect directly to smartphones. However, there is no shock mount, so you need to be careful about noise when shooting handheld.
