Questions & Answers

Richard S : Is there a volume control?HUNG D : noMICHAEL K : NoCHI L : No, there is no volume control.CONRAD S : No, just a nice long cord and 1/4" to 1/8" adapter
Shopper : whats the warranty?DAN T : No warranty card enclosed in the box, you have to register online. Warranty information link says 2 years on audio products, BUT after filling out the registration form, it says the warranty is 1 year. Hence all of the answers about warranty that say 2 years are actually INCORRECT.DAN T : In spite of the little user booklet which claims that a warranty card which needs to be filled out is enclosed, there is no warranty card. Instead there is a little card that tells you to register the product online at the company web page followed by support and then registration separated by a slash (review does not allow web page link).
Shopper : Will they fit the audio jack on Apple Mac book pro/ iPad/iPhone ?PERCY S : yesMahmood K : yes they fitDesneil J : YesDAVID M : I came with a 1/8" (3.5 mm) and a 1/4", so yes it will.Alex G : Work just fine in my MacBook Pro..RAUL J : Yes, this will fit to any Macbook pro , iPad or iPhone because is regular headphone jack 1/8" plus come with a adapter for 1/4"JASON C : Yes. They have a standard 3.5mm plug (iPad/iphone size) and an adapter for 1/4" outputs.PETER H : It has a standard 1/8" stereo plug, so YES, it will fit. Though at this price I would recommend the JVC HARX700 instead for comfort. The Samson's clamp MUCH too tightly and actually hurt after wearing them a while.

Awful

I wouldn't wear these headphones if they were free. They're uncomfortable, with a vice-like grip. You really have to bend it out of shape or your ears will be in a pain after ten minutes of wearing. I don't enjoy the sound either. It sounds very hollow and without any depth. I can't recommend these at any price point.

I'm highly impressed.

I was not excited eating much from this pair of headphones given thto price point but I was humbled by both the sound and build quality. This is the perfect set of headphones when I'm making music or mixing outside of the studio. I have ($) Beats by Dr Dre, the studio versions. And those are now collecting dust because of this new Pair.

Cheap, uncomfortable.

So disappointed, very uncomfortable, cheap and the returning shipping fee was almost as much as what I paid for them. I will just give them to my grandkids instead of wasting the money returning them. Extremely disappointed orn them.

Headphones

These work pretty well. They are somewhat tight on my head and need to be turned up pretty high to get loud. Very nice long cord and cover my entire ear. If 4.5 stars were an option I'd pick that. Great headphones overall!

These headphones sounded great and we're very comfortable. The reviews about not having much bass didn't seem that way to me.

I would definitely recommend this set of headphones.

Great for the price!

Well built, and decent quality for the price I paid (~$). I hate earbuds, so I use these when I ride my bike around town. Comfortable for up to ~30 minutes and sound quality is pretty good. I would say these are worth the MSRP. Not very stylish, but that's never bothered me. If you really want a cheap pair of cans and can't afford $+, these aren't a bad choice.

The best values headphone for the price

The headphone is made out of plastic but well-built enough for the price the south quality is phenomenal the base is tight and the overall range frequency is good . The headphones is full size but I found it a little bit tight on my head it probably will take a little while to get used to but once it does you will love it.

Sweet deal

this item is great. seems that it has a sound limiter, so even in high volume, it is capped to a safe limit. recommend it. The caveat is that it has a tight fit as it applies pressure on your head.

very low quality built

I have purchased few other headphone in this range, nut I should admit this one has the lowest build quality. It is not adjustable around your head and it is going to push your head so hard that you could not take it more than 5 min. Don't waste your money even though I just paid 23$.

Great sound, comfortable headset

Highly recommend these. I do light audio work, and these are definitely sufficient for podcast editing and good for listening. Also, as someone with a big head, they're comfortable to wear for extended periods.

Very Comfortable

Very comfortable - the headband is self-adjusting and I have never felt uncomfortable even after hours of listening. The earcovers can get warm due to the material - would not recommend for people who run hot. Sound quality is also great, comes with 3.5mm as well as larger jack that fits over top.

Excellent

For a "reference" headphone I found these to have a nice bit of bass without being "boomy." Great entry level headphone.

Buy these!

These cover the ears amply - I get a wonderful in-the-auditorium experience with these. Bass is perfect - not the hard rock sound of those sold to the rock crowd. A very balance set that I highly reocmmend.

Nice Clear Well Ballanced Sound

After break in the sound is excellent. Cord is long, that's a good thing for me, it reached the rear of my computer that is under the desk and still allows me room to move around.I use it for listening to music, movies, pod casts, and gaming. Some say bass could be better however I don't agree, it's balanced, not boomy or over exaggerated. I can wear these for 2 hours at a time without a break. For the price I don't believe you could find a better set of headphones.

Great Reference closed Headphones

Here is my advised for people who might buy this headphones, as a DJ/Producer you need to understand the difference between Regular Headphones, DJ Headphones and Reference Headphones. This Reference Headphones are amazing. I am using Logic Pro X and the sound is crisp, clear this is the right reference headphone if you are looking to hear all the details in your final mastering at the right volume. Samsong is a great brand, Ican't complaint about it. I also have 2 pairs of Samson Resolve A8 active studio monitors and those are amazing too. I will recommend this heaphones if you are a Producer or Musician who are looking for great sound at the right volume.

If you are looking for heavy bass, go elsewhere.

These are amazing!! I bought a second pair a week after I got them. They are not for the people that like heavy bass. If you like to listen to the vocals with great clarity, these are the ones for you. I enjoy them very much.

Great value

By Grant K.

I'm a former pro with a fair number of hours clocked in the studio (hence the hobbyist/semi-pro description). I got these to use in my little office studio setup (very bare bones, just for fun). I'm frankly surprised at the clarity and range of these. Especially in the lows. They let me hear some muddy bottom noise that my other monitoring gear didn't. I had no expectations, and have impressed with their performance. And for the sale price under ($)? Like, why was I even buying these in the f...
