The Saramonic VWS features a superior shock mount suspension system, adept at eliminating unwanted vibration and handling noise. Whether you're recording outdoors in high winds or indoors using a boom pole, stand, or handheld with the pistol-grip handle, this system delivers exceptional performance.

Designed to be the perfect blimp solution for the Saramonic TM1, TM7, and NV5 shotgun microphones, the VWS also accommodates nearly every industry-standard shotgun and pencil microphone. It can house microphones up to 14.9" (380mm) in length with a diameter of 0.75-0.91" (19-23mm).

The system's versatility extends to its adjustable shock mount and blimp angle, allowing for optimal microphone positioning. A built-in short, coiled XLR cable in the handle and shock mount unit simplifies microphone connection, eliminating concerns about cable routing. This internal cabling also contributes to a seamless structure that effectively diffuses wind noise.

The VWS system includes an acoustically transparent furry windscreen, which can be easily removed for use in milder environments. With a 3/8" thread at the base of the handle, the system can be attached to boom poles like the Saramonic Magic Boom Pole. A 1/4" 20 thread adapter is also included, providing nearly limitless mounting options.

For productions that move quickly from interior to exterior shots, the VWS system can be swiftly modified. The rear and front domes are easily removable, and an integrated slide rail allows for quick removal of the main blimp housing. The system is also easy to break down and pack at the end of a shoot, and a carrying pouch is included for convenient storage and transport.
