The Saramonic XLavMic-O is a wired lavalier microphone with an omnidirectional pickup pattern that captures impressive, broadcast-quality sound. The microphone itself is small and inconspicuous when attached to your shirt or collar. Even though its ultra-compact in size, the XLavMic-O provides rich and full sonic performance.

The attached cable is 19.7 feet (6m) long, which gives you ample length when plugging directly into a professional video camera or audio recorder. An additional XLR cable (sold separately) can be used if you need more length and the XLavMic-O is also completely compatible with wireless transmitters, like the Saramonic UwMic9 TX-XLR9 (sold separately) . You can also give your subjects mobility by connecting the XLavMic-O directly to an audio recorder, like the Saramonic SR-VRM1 (sold separately) .

The omnidirectional pickup pattern of the XLavMic-O is ideal for video production. It picks up sound equally in every direction, so the sound levels won't change dramatically when the person wearing it moves their head while speaking. This provides a more even-sounding, less distracting experience for the viewer. The XLavMic-O requires phantom power for operation and does not require batteries.
