How much?

Although this piece works as described, the cost is way more than what it should be. I have all kinds of adapters that fit EOS lens to different makes and all of them usually fall around 50 to 100 bucks or so. $ 295.00 is ridiculous. I should have just built my own.

Use canon lenses on your ccd!!

This adapter is great for attaching canon lenses to your sbig camera. It has worked well for me so far! One problem I am concerned about is that I might lose the mounting screws when I switch nose pieces. So far so good though!

This adapter is great for attaching canon lenses to your sbig camera. It has worked well for me so far! One problem I am concerned about is that I might lose the mounting screws when I switch nose pieces. So far so good though!

The SBIG Canon EOS Lens Adapter for ST-8300 Monochrome CCD Camera is designed to fit the camera with or without an FW5-8300 or FW8-8300 filter wheel. The Canon EOS Spacer is used in place of the filter wheel to maintain the correct distance for achieving infinity focus. The production adapter is black anodized, except the center ring.
