Good transfer speed

I'm getting 426Mb read and write speed consistently from my Samsung 860 EVO 1TB to my iMac 2017. I'm using this to replace a Thunderbolt 3 version I had since Apple only puts two ports on this iMac model.

Small, fast and efficient

I bought a 500GB SSD when it was on sale and I wanted to add it as an external storage for my Mac mini. Did some research to find the cheapest and most efficient way to do it. Found this cable and decided to give it a shot. The system worked like a charm. I use the external HDD for storing active projects of my FCPX editing. So while I’m using the software this is constantly getting accessed. My Mac mini has a regular HDD. With this setup my FCPX editing process has become significantly faster. I highly recommend this cable to anyone looking for a fast cheap way to access SSD

Great Product

It works very fast on Mac. Continuous write/ read is approximately 500mb/s. The build quality is also solid.
