The SB-5526 is a 4x2 Component Video + Digital/Analog/Optical Audio matrix switcher with RS-232 designed to work as a switcher for multiple Audio/Video sources and displays. Capable of switching Component Video, PCM, Optical and Stereo Audio signals between (4) sources and (2) displays with compatible inputs. A maximum bandwidth of 325MHz will support a sharp and highly defined video in multiple resolutions of up to 1080p. Because it is a matrix switcher, it allows any input to be routed to any output; or the same input to be routed to all outputs or any combination. It completely eliminates the need to constantly move around audio and video input and output cables. The SB-5526 supports ear mount or is rack mountable. Control is provided via front push buttons with LED readout or IR remote controller. RS-232 control allows the switcher to be controlled by a computerized system such as HTPC and in this case eliminates the need for an infrared remote control. A Windows-based control panel software package is included to provide complete control of the SB-5526 from a PC. The 4x2 matrix switcher works with all video equipment that has proper connections: such as Cable and Satellite receivers, Computers, Video Scalers, DVD players, VCRs and so on.
