Excellent bass. I have had several Spectors over the years, mostly the Euro models, 4 and 5 string, plus several of the Legends, 6 string and 2 SpectorCore 4 string Fretless...... Since I am mainly a fretted bassist, I was looking for a backup bass for my Spector Euro NS5 CRFM. Since I am well acquainted with Spector quality, I knew what to expect, but, this bass went further than I thought it would. I had traded a 2007 Fender American Deluxe Jass for the Sector NS5 and a Fender American Deluxe P-bass for a different 5 string which I did not enjoy. Sold the 5 string I did not enjoy and bought the SpectorCore. I am glad I did. Tone is great. Feel is great. Overall quality is great and in my opinion, this Korean made Spector has rivaled or is better than both of my American made Fenders that I traded. I would definitely recommend this Spector, actually, any Spector. From the Performer series all the way to the American series Spector basses, for me, Spector is my bass and no other. Not to mention the fast and great service through Adorama. Bass was not in stock. I believe a special order. It was ordered and I was notified much faster than I anticipated and delivered faster than I expected. And. In great condition. Now I don't know if the bass was checked and set up before being sent to me, but, the intonation was spot on, strings low just like I like them and it just sounded great.. Get a Spector and you won't be disappointed. Order from Adorama and you won't be disappointed.
