The heart of this set is the pair of CCM 4 compact microphones, renowned for their exceptional sound quality and flat frequency response. Whether the sound is arriving from the front, sides, or as diffuse sound in a room, the CCM 4 delivers a sonic impression free of coloration. Its design ensures a reduction in room sound pickup, significantly lowering the risk of acoustic feedback.
The ORTF Outdoor Set also includes a STC 4 mounting bracket, which is elastically suspended to maintain a precise distance of 17 cm and an angle of 110 degrees between the two microphone capsules. This arrangement is in accordance with the ORTF stereo recording standards, ensuring optimal sound capture.
To protect your microphones from wind noise, the set comes with a basket-type windscreen and a Windjammer.
