OK but

Excellent quality. Clever, functional design, BUT WAY TOO HEAVY as part of your rig. Made for a photographer who goes to one location and shoots, not a birder who walks and shoots.

It's like a portable studio pedestal.

If I could I'd give it 4.5 stars. Does pretty much what I want it to do. They could take it to the next level by giving it a longer pneumatic range and some user adjustment for pressure to balance different camera loads. Maybe hand control instead of foot control like some hand clamp ball heads have. This is much faster than a standard monopod for shooting live video. It's like a portable studio pedestal.

Great product!

I used the SteadiCam AIR-15 for the first time on a senior-portrait photoshoot, and it is great. It would be better if you didn't have to use one hand-turn type adjustment. I really like the way it swivels at the top and bottom, and the bottom is larger than most monopods. Charlotte in AL.
