Review Summary
From Schecter's Custom Shop comes this limited-edition tribute to Jerry Horton, a satin white guitar with 9V active internals, a mahogany body, and a rosewood fretboard. The neck features mother of pearl inlays, 24 jumbo-sized frets, glow-in-the-dark side dot markers, and mahogany 3-piece construction.
The mahogany body, with its classic black control knobs and uncovered Schecter Pasadena humbucker pickups, generates warm, bright tones. The pickups, which have been praised by musicians for their top-notch sound, are used on the best of Schecter's lineup. The locking tuners are also from Schecter, and the included strings (0.010-0.046) are Ernie Ball Regular Slinkies.
Body & Neck Construction
This guitar's all-mahogany build gives it a rich, deep tonality, and the set-neck adds extra stability to a rock-solid build.
Hardware & Accessories
With open Schecter Pasadena pickups and on-body controls including a 3-way pickup switch, a tone knob, and dual volume controls, you'll have all the tools you need to fine-tune your tunes, and the pickups won't miss a beat.
Design & Feel
With a full-mahogany construction, this guitar feels rock-solid whether you're sitting or standing, and the "thin-C" neck gives shorter fingers a break when reaching for notes. The 24 X-Jumbo frets help to further level the playing field by giving a more tactile feel to chords and note fingerings.
