Review Summary
Schecter's vintage line does more than pay homage to the classics; each model upholds what Schecter has always stood by, and that's craftsmanship from top to bottom. Every tonewood is carefully selected and shaped into what you see here, and the components are appropriately sourced and installed to get the most out of every note and chord.
Construction & Build
This particular guitar was built with a swamp ash body and maple neck, for a healthy combination of dense resonance and snappy stiffness that provides a responsive playing feel. A flat-top body shape projects and resonates well, and most importantly, plays nicely with the components used on this build.
Components & Hardware
Schecter chose their own Diamond VT-1 (neck) and Diamond MonsterTone (bridge) pickups for their ability to provide sustain and bright, clear tones. The bridge is a vintage ashtray-style done in gleaming chrome to match the other hardware on the guitar, as are the Grover tuners, and the metal knurled control knobs (for volume and tone).
