The Schoeps IRT Cross Microphone Set is used for capturing audio in surround sound applications such as cinema, broadcast TV and more. Featuring four CCM 4 large compact cardioid microphones and a CB 250 mounting bar the set allows you to set up 4 microphones in a cross arrangement for ambient recording in 360degree. It is designed to be used with the separately sold OCT surround system. This is useful when playback arrangements require speaker placement in 4 corners of a square.

Each CCM 4 microphone offers high sound quality, flat frequency response, optimal rejection of rear-incident sound and a directional pattern that remains constant throughout the audio frequency range. The CCM 4 microphone offers only a mild rise around 10 kHz and features a sonic impression free of coloration. This microphone set offers a natural ambience whether sound is arriving at the front or at the sides of the microphone. Included in the set is a wooden case.
