Incredibly flawed design.  It's as as Sachtler put all their effords into the speedlock system and outsourced the spreader design to a cheap 3rd party.  Each arm of the spreader AUTO-LOCKS in pre-determined positions.  This really slows down your leg adjustments and negates any speed-savings of the newer speedlock design.
