You aren't supposed to leave it on the enlarger while printing, just slip it on and off while checking for fine focus. It's very easy to use and is precise. The downfall is that for floor prints it's too short, but you can tape a ruler to it and operate it that way :)

It works well when your enlarger is at its maximum height and you want to use a grain focuser while adjusting the focus. The 2 foot long extension is not flexible enough to leave on the enlarger when using it at a more moderate height. It is easy to slip on and off the enlarger.

Makes it easier to fine focus while looking through grain magnifier, especially when making larger prints. 24" long extension shaft, connected to adapter via coil joint, allows full range of movement. Precision engineered, non-slip adapter fits over fine focus knob on all Saunders/LPL 4 x 5" enlargers. Also works on Saunders/LPL 670-series enlargers fitted with optional fine focusing attachment (Cat. No. 240-300) Also works with all Saunders/LPL 4 x 5" enlargers.
