After extensive research and development, the DC P4510 4TB 3D NAND PCIe 3.1 x4 NVMe U.2 Internal Data Center SSD emerges as a high-performance, reliable, and capacious solution for data storage needs. This fast and durable SSD is designed to consolidate storage and accelerate read-intensive and mixed sequential workloads, optimizing storage efficiency and enabling data centers to maximize server utilization.
Built on the success of its predecessor, the Intel SSD DC P4500 Series, the DC P4510 Series incorporates 64-layer, TLC, Intel 3D NAND technology. This advanced technology delivers significant performance, Quality of Service (QoS), and capacity improvements, allowing data centers to accomplish more per server, minimize service disruptions, and manage operations efficiently at scale.
The DC P4510 Series is an SSD designed for modern cloud storage architectures. As enterprises increasingly adopt multi-cloud strategies, the demand for PCIe/NVMe-based SSDs with scalable performance, low latency, and innovative features has grown. The DC P4510 Series meets these requirements, significantly enhancing server agility and application acceleration across a wide range of cloud workloads.
Intel's 64-layer, TLC, 3D NAND technology enables the DC P4510 to offer double the capacity of its predecessor, the Intel SSD DC P4500. This increased density supports broader workloads, allowing cloud service providers to accommodate more users and improve data service levels. An intelligent firmware algorithm ensures optimal balance between host and background data read/write, resulting in up to 80% faster write rate, up to 2x better random write IOPS/TB, and up to 10x reduction of service time.
The DC P4510 Series also includes enhanced SMART monitoring for drive health and status, using both in-band and out-of-band access. A power loss imminent (PLI) protection scheme guards against data loss in the event of sudden power cuts. These features, combined with end-to-end data path protection, make the DC P4510 an ideal choice for resilient data centers that cannot tolerate data corruption.
To maximize SSD capacity per server, the DC P4510 offers dynamic namespace management for flexibility and scalability. It also provides security features such as TCG Opal 2.0 and a built-in AES-XTS 256-bit encryption engine. With the ability to manage multiple firmware versions on a drive and support updates without a reset, the DC P4510 simplifies integration and deployment at scale.
In conclusion, the DC P4510 4TB 3D NAND PCIe 3.1 x4 NVMe U.2 Internal Data Center SSD, with its increased density, enhanced firmware features, and commitment to Quality of Service, is a superior choice for data center storage. It's designed to handle read-intensive workloads and beyond, leading data centers through their evolving transformation with unmatched speed, reliability, and capacity.
