Good, but no thumbnails in secure file
I like that you can lock files with a password. However you can't see thumbnails of pictures so they can't be put in the secure file, which is where I would want them.

Not recognized by Xbox Series X nor S22 Ultra
I was devastated when I noticed that It doesn't work at all with my Xbox Series X nor my Android phone (Samsung S22 ultra)!
Its of virtually no use to me as it only works on my laptop and I'm unable to use it as a single point of storage for my devices- which is the whole point of an external drive right?
I previously used a HDD which was recognized by all my devices... such a shame that this newer technology is less functional. I only wish I knew before moving all my files onto it.

Pretty good for the price to speed ratio.
It's not the fastest with multiple files on write, but that's not why you buy this one over the extreme pro. It has fast enough reads for video and that's all that matters nowadays.

SSD Crash
External SSD 1TB was crash and device manager but doesnt show in diskmanager. I try to recover my data, it fail.

not as good as I hoped
Three things:
1) It doesn't come with helpful instructions. I had to play around with it to get it to work.
2) It's slower than I expected.
3) It doesn't have the ability to automatically back up files as they are added to my hard drive.
Luckily it was on sale and so I guess it's a case of you get what you pay for.

Slow and feels cheap but still works
I'm a little surprised at the feel in hand, cheaper and more plastic feeling than I thought it would. Regardless, it still gets the job done and is a standard USB speed. The strap is chewy plastic, yea I also thought it was a cloth of some kind until I touched it.

My experience using SSD 1 TB.
Had many mp4 music videos on my older samsung note 8. I wanted to back the music up for future use. I downloaded 300 videos to SSD 1TB in about 30 minutes @ breakfast. Lightning quick transfer speed!

Slim and trim

Free item that I got charged for?
I haven't tried em out yet, what I'm trying to figure out is, I bought two of these for my kids, upon checking out it popped up that I qualified for a free jump drive or minisd, I chose mini sd, well I finish checking out and it was all good until I clicked the submit order, where it now charged me for the FREE item. I don't understand how it was free but I then paid for it? And it didn't even tell me I was going to be billed until I submitted the order. I thought 2+2=4 not 6, explain please how I got charged for a free offer that I wasn't shopping for in the first place? Please, I know if this is how your business is conducted I will not be a repeated shopper, I thought wd was better than that. Then I try to look into it and there is no contact info anywhere on site? Well unless it's a tech issue , fix my issue and I will fix this bad review but as of this moment, y'all are pralines and mint ice cream, not leaving a very good taste in my mouth.
