Works as I expected

The hard drive arrived intact in an air-cushioned package. I've been using it for the last 3 weeks and haven't run into any problems. If I had a con, the only one would be that it didn't come with a SATA cable. If you're ordering one, you should take note of that. All I had to do was dig one up from my closet, but it might be a slight annoyance if you don't have one on hand.

The Seagate ST1000DM003 Barracuda 1TB SATA hard drive gives you the Power of One, one hard drive platform for every desktop storage application and one drive with trusted performance, reliability and simplicity and capacity. This 1TB Seagate Barracuda hard drive also features Seagates '1TB-per-disc' technology that packs 340,000 hard drive tracks into the width of a single inch, this means that, when reading and writing data, the read/write head needs to accurately follow a track that is a mere 75 nanometers wide.
