The convenience of this mini 512gb memory stick is essential for quick transfer, compatibility, and load up. It is really small. I recommend keeping it on a keychain/keyring to keep from accidently losing it. It plugs right into my galaxy device with zero issues. I was able to back up everything on my phone within moments. Then I was able to plug it into my MacBook Pro, and everything I backed up from my phone immediately popped up
