This drive exceeded my expectations. It works blazing fast and quiet in comparison to it's WD counterpart. I would recommend it. As for service and pricing? It's Adorama! Best prices with blazing fast shipping! I could not ask for better service.

Flawless high-capacity drives
These drives-I bought seven of them-were perfect out of the box. All were certified with a 3-pass full-surface algorithm and passed with ZERO errors. I now have a massive RAID for my video files!!

Great drives, would happily buy more once my wallet is no longer in pain!
I got 4 of these 12TB IronWolf Pro drives and they're solid so far! I have them in a RAID 10 configuration in my NAS and I have zero complaints. Good performance with not much noise too which is nice. I'd highly recommending getting these if you're looking to build out your NAS. The 5 year warranty is pretty sweet too!

Brand new and works as expected
Hard drive came well packaged inside frustration free box, inside another box, so it was well taken care of. As for the product itself, I can say it was a brand new hard drive, with a manufacturing date of 1 month prior, so pretty new. I placed the drive inside a Synology DS1522+, and ran the short and extended S.M.A.R.T. tests, the first one took like a minute everything was fine, the extended one took like 23hrs to complete but it came out successful. As for usage, it makes a little noise when it spins up from standby mode and when sending stuff to the NAS, you can hear it, but it's not annoying.

Fantastic drives for NAS storage

Perfect for that NAS media server

Time will tell, but so far so good.
The real test is longevity and reliability. But out of the box, the drives worked. They are a lot noisier than the 2TB and 4TB Iron Wolf Pro drives; otherwise, I would rate them five stars. I also assume they will last as long and be as reliable as past Iron Wolf drives. I have used both the Pro and non-pro drives for up to five years. None have failed yet. I only retired the smaller ones as my storage needs increased. I will recycle them into new computers as time permits and needs require.

IW Pro is my preferred NAS drive.
Ironwolf Pro is a good choice to use with a Synology NAS (check Synology compatibility list to confirm your model). I prefer the Pro drives due to the 10^15 URE rate which provides a little extra insurance against RAID rebuild failure.
Adorama packaged the drives well.

Failure- not sure if a fluke
Failure in less than a month. Not sure if just unlucky or if due to a bad batch. I have gone back to WD Red with absolutely no issues.
