Must by a typo.DENNIS K : All of the Seagate USB 3.0 drives should ship with a 3.0 cable. Mine certainly did. The A end looks exactly like a USB 2.0 cable but it actually has 8 connectors hidden inside. The B end has an additional step on the connector. The interior plastic of a USB 3.0 cable is almost always blue.
