This high impedance allows the DM3 to maintain the integrity of your instrument's sound, making it ideal for use with low-output pickups without any coloration, thanks to the renowned DYNAMITE technology also found in the DM1 and DM2 models.The DM3 is equipped with a lockable 1/4 inch (6.3 mm) input jack, providing a secure and reliable connection in high-pressure live or recording environments. The locking mechanism can be disengaged if preferred, offering flexibility to suit your needs. This direct box also boasts a recessed three-stage ground lift switch with a unique "on+" setting, effectively minimizing unwanted buzz, hum, hiss, and radio frequency interference, ensuring a pristine signal whether you're in the studio, at home, on stage, or in a worship setting.Designed to handle even the most powerful instruments, the DM3 offers massive headroom, capable of accommodating the high output levels of active pickups, keyboards, drum machines, synthesizers, and laptops. If necessary, the integrated, recessed attenuation pad switch allows you to reduce the input signal by 15 or 30 dB to suit any input load.The DM3 features a dedicated Class-A output buffer amplifier, delivering the lowest noise in its class and preventing zero-crossover distortion. This ensures a clean and consistent signal, regardless of load impedance or cable length.
