Over the years, the sE4100 Large-Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone has become a staple in the audio industry, renowned for its superior sound quality and robust design. This pair of microphones is the latest addition to our esteemed range of large-diaphragm true-condenser microphones.
The sE4100 is a cardioid-only variant of the multi-pattern sE4400, maintaining the same sleek design and warm, smooth sound that has made it a preferred choice for diverse applications. Whether you're capturing the resonance of drum overheads or the raw power of guitar amps, this microphone delivers exceptional results.
At the heart of the sE4100 is a handcrafted twin 1" gold-sputtered brass capsule, identical to the one found in the sE4400. This feature makes the sE4100 a versatile workhorse, capable of capturing everything from the subtle nuances of vocals and grand pianos to the vibrant tones of acoustic or brass instruments. It's equally adept in live environments, serving as a factory-matched pair for overheads and instrument spot mic applications.
The sE4100 is a testament to the blend of classic sound and modern craftsmanship. Its cardioid polar pattern, the most common in both live and studio applications, prioritizes the features you need the most. This puts the smooth sound character of classic condensers right at your fingertips.
Equipped with an integrated attenuation pad and low-cut filter, the sE4100 can handle loud sources with ease. It effectively tames excessive low-frequency rumble or proximity effect, providing the necessary extended dynamic range and roll-offs to fine-tune your sound at its source.
The sE4100's robust construction features a dent-proof die-cast all-metal housing, metal switches, a rugged spring steel wire mesh grille, and a premium finish. This microphone is built to withstand the rigors of touring and years of demanding studio use.
Each sE4100 matched-pair is rigorously tested, tuned in-house, and sonically matched to ensure a virtually identical frequency response for balanced, consistent sound. The package includes a metal mic case, stereo bar, two shockmounts, and two sE4100 microphones.
The flat, round-edged chassis design and custom suspension mount allow the mic to be centered within the shock, used flat against a drum head or guitar cab, and provides exceptional protection from low-end rumble and footfall noise.
Whether you're recording lead vocals, orchestral strings, drums, overheads, electric guitar cabs, pianos, acoustic guitars, woodwinds, or brass, the sE4100 Large-Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone is a reliable and versatile choice.
