Bring studio-quality sound to your recordings with the sE4100 Large-Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone, the newest member of our esteemed line of large-diaphragm true-condenser microphones. This cardioid-only variant of the versatile sE4400 boasts the same streamlined design and rich, velvety sound, making it a top pick for diverse applications, from drum overheads to guitar amplifiers.
The sE4100 features a meticulously handcrafted 1" true condenser cardioid capsule, identical to the one found in the sE4400. This gold-sputtered brass capsule transforms the sE4100 into a reliable workhorse, delivering exceptional results across a broad spectrum of sources. Whether you're recording vocals, grand pianos, acoustic or brass instruments, electric guitar cabinets, or drum overheads, the sE4100 excels in live settings as a factory-matched pair for overheads and instrument spot mic applications.
Simplicity meets superior sound with the sE4100. This cardioid version of the acclaimed sE4400 brings the warm sound character of classic condensers within your reach. With cardioid being the most frequently used polar pattern in both live and studio settings, the sE4100 focuses on the features you truly need.
The sE4100 comes with a switchable pre-attenuation pad and bass-cut filter, allowing it to handle loud sources and effortlessly control excessive low-frequency rumble or proximity effect. This provides the necessary extended dynamic range and roll-offs needed to fine-tune your sound at its source.
Constructed with meticulous attention to detail, the sE4100 features a dent-proof die-cast all-metal housing, metal switches, a rugged spring steel wire mesh grille, and a premium finish. This microphone is built to withstand the rigors of touring and years of demanding studio use.
The unique flat, round-edged chassis design and custom suspension mount allow the microphone to be centered within the shock, used flat against a drum head or guitar cabinet, and offer exceptional protection from low-end rumble and footfall noise.
Each sE4100 Matched-Pair is rigorously tested, tuned in-house, and sonically matched to ensure a virtually identical frequency response for balanced, consistent sound. The package comes complete with a metal microphone case, stereo bar, two shock mounts, and two sE4100 microphones. Ideal for lead vocals, orchestral and string instruments, drums, overheads, electric guitar cabinets, pianos, acoustic guitars, woodwinds, and brass.
