We own 4 different wireless lav systems and by far, this sennheiser system is our new go to system. The quietist, last longer on batteries and has a more compact design. Stop waisting your time with inferior set-ups.

This is the gold standard for wireless audio in film and video for a reason. Its built like a tank and highly reliable (except, of course, when you are in an area with crowded airwaves). A lot of the newer WiFi based wireless kits are clunky and have a shorter range. I am sure it won't be long for those to take the throne of the wireless audio kingdom but these Sennheisers will be around and kicking for quite some time (of until the FCC rips away the remaining frequencies).

We used this same system in a month shoot in Africa and it worked great in every way straight out of the box, that I went and bought my own.

I am a Wedding DJ that started in 1986. My equipment are my tools that allow me to provide solutions for unique situations. This kit is not just ideal for a typical lavalier situation (wedding ceremony). But it is perfect for broadcasting my music/announcements to a remote location. Is your cocktail hour in another room or outside on the patio? No problem. This Sennheiser kit will deliver the sound you want and need. Works great when dancing is in one room and dinner in another. Broadcast your mix where it needs to be. Set up is a breeze and you'll always be prepared where others fall short. Thank you for this amazing option that I really can't be without!

In my opinion, it is the best wireless system on the market. I use this on my Canon EOS 7D. Soon will be using on the Canon EOS 5D Mark III once it comes out on 2012. The only con i have still have noise when recording. I speak to one of the rep in Adorama, they you don't need a noise reducer, all you have to do is adjust the freq. I can tell you that is wrong. You need a noise reducer for sure. If you know how to use Adobe movie editer, you can reduce the noise. Anyways, i think is best to get a reducer along with it, but you probably end up on spending $1,000 total with that set up. Like a JuicedLink DT454 4 Channel DSLR Preamp / Meter / Phantom / AGC Disabler. I'm getting to video production and this product is the best way to go. By the way, i'm still waiting on the rebate of $75 which i haven't receive that yet. It has been awhle now. It isn't adorama fault, but it think it could be Sennheiser fault on this matter or the mail got lost. I will have to call up Sennheiser for that rebate.

This is finally a system we can count on.

Flexible ENG set for indoors and outdoors: EK 100 G3 adaptive diversity receiver, SK 100 G3 bodypack transmitter, ME 2 clip-on microphone and the SKP 100 G3 plug-on transmitter that turns any XLR mic into a wireless one.
This ENG set offers a great amount of flexibility for portable recording indoors or outdoors. Its SKP 100 G3 plug-on transmitter transforms XLR equipped devices (such as microphones and mixing consoles) into wireless devices by simply plugging the unit in. The bodypack transmitter, as well as the plug on, can by synced up to the receiver with the simple push of a button. A very small high-quality directional clip-on microphone completes this set. Contact the local radio frequency licensing authority in your country, who will advise you on the available frequencies and transmitter power requirements.
