Great product, but not the solution

Cable has very solid build, high quality product, but didnt work with senheisers mic on a 5Dmii, nor on sony a7Riii. Might be a compatibility issue or camera issue, (it was not a phantom power thing, as the mic was battery powered) all in all keep in mind that this cable might not be the simple solution you are looking if you plan to connect a directional mic straight into your dslr. That said, its a hight quality product
