Nice looking but won’t stay in the reflector.

These are nice looking and I was really excited to get them. However, these do not stay in the reflector dish - so annoying. It just keeps popping out. It can be rigged to stay put, but I feel we shouldn’t have to do this. I really don’t want to start gunking up my new equipment with duct tape and other sticky products.

Not good

Grids don't fit flush against the sides of the reflector so light spills out from the edges. Defeats the whole point of a grid.

A complete bundle with 7" reflector and set of four honeycomb grids with varying degrees of light spread. The Studio Essentials Standard 7" Reflector is a versatile and easy-to-use light modifier. When used by itself, a 7" reflector creates a concentrated and crisp light and can be focused into tighter beams using the included honeycomb grids. The four grids allow you to adjust the spread of light from 10deg., 20deg., 30deg. and 40deg. beams.

All Studio Essentials modifiers utilize the widely-used Bowens S-Type mount, making them compatible with all Studio Essentials and Interfit flashes and LED monolights. This reflector serves as a replacement reflector for the Interfit S1, S1a and the Studio Essentials Value Flash.
