Become an audio recording professional with the Sennheiser MZD 8000 Digital Mic Module. This innovative device allows you to convert the exceptional sound of the MKH 8000 series to digital format directly at the microphone head, preserving the natural, warm, and incredibly clear sound quality without any loss.
This compact digital module easily replaces the XLR module, transforming the audio signal of the MKH 8020 (omni-directional), MKH 8040 (cardioid), and MKH 8050 (super-cardioid) into a digital one. Unlike traditional digitization methods that require a separate analogue/digital converter, the MZD 8000 digital module from Sennheiser eliminates cable losses and features a converter and surrounding circuitry perfectly matched to the microphone.
Designed as a two-channel module in line with the 8000 series, it converts the microphone signal according to the AES 42 standard. This ensures your microphones can be synchronized with any digital system. The digital module not only includes an A/D converter (24-bit, sampling rate up to 192 kHz) but also a highly integrated DSP unit.
With the help of dedicated PC control software and an AES 42 interface, this versatile microphone module allows remote control of settings such as the low-cut filter and attenuation. The necessary phantom power for microphones is supplied by an AES 42 interface, such as Neumann's DMI.
Experience the high-quality, durable, and professional performance of the Sennheiser MZD 8000 Digital Mic Module, and elevate your audio recording capabilities to new heights.
