Great minimalist mount, very tight cold shoe tolerance

Solid, sturdy mic mount which fits the MKE600 perfectly. There is slight flex in the base to manage vibrations, seems like the perfect amount without allowing a large mic like the MKE600 to move too much. One complaint is that the shoe mount is very tight. I can?t back it out enough to slide easily onto cold shoe (mounted to camera cage). Once on, it?s not going anywhere, so that is good. 4 stars only bc very tight.

Expensive for what it is, okay in a pinch

Relatively expensive chunk of plastic, deforms somewhat easily under normal workloads. I?d be less critical if the price were more inline with performance? feels like a $7 item to me. -AW
