Don P : Will inserting this SES-MKP31 into a powered speaker line (going from amp to speaker) cause any impedance changes that could/would damage the amp or the speaker? Speaker line is shielded 1/4" cable.Robert C : It would increase the impedance, which does not cause damage to other equipment. However, you could easily damage the SES-MKP31 if you overpower it.

Great for Headphones

Works very well to attenuate low power amplified stereo audio signals for headphones. Consider using right-angle plugs if space is tight.

Does exactly what it's suppose to!!

I use a powered PA speaker for s keyboard monitor during gigs, and it isn't always easy to step back and adjust the volume during shows. The Sescom MKP 31 is connected between the keyboard output and the speaker, and solves the problem quite nicely. Its small footprint and rectangle shape sits easily on top of the keyboard, and I can make quick adjustments to the speaker volume without having to stop playing.
