Fisheye lens with close up ability designed exclusively for use with APS-C size digital SLR cameras, 10mm F2.8 Ex DC Fisheye HSM  This autofocus fisheye lens is designed for use with digital SLR cameras equipped with APS-C size image sensors. The Nikon version produces a diagonal angle of view of 180°, 154° for Sigma, 167° for Canon.  The diagonal field of view of this fisheye lens produces striking images with exaggerated perspective and distortion. The minimum focusing distance of 13.5cm / 5.3inch, and maximum magnification 1:3.3 allows subjects to be as close as 1.8cm/0.7inch from the lens front element.  This close focusing capability allows close-up photography and also it is possible to make use of large depth of field that covers wide range of subjects. The Integral hood blocks out extraneous light and the Super Multi-Layer Coating minimizes flare and ghosting, creating superior image quality.  The HSM "Hyper Sonic Motor" ensures fast and quiet autofocusing and allows full-time manual focus override by rotation of the focus ring. This lens is supplied with a gelatin filter holder at the rear, allowing the use of gelatin filters. 

I purchased a used lens from Adorama.  The lens works as if new and I am happy with the images.

Quality

I use this lens mainly for indoor/outdoor sport events such as indoor volleyball, beach volleyball, triathlons, drag racing and cycling. Special photos taken with this lens has been included in international sport federations websites.

It's worth what you pay for it !

I use this lense 90% for video on my canon T2I & 60D. The quality of footage is astounding. The clarity, sharpness , is unmatched. I give high marks to adorama, not only for quality products, but, for price points on most products below competitors for exact same product.[...]

Great lens at a Terrific price

all i can say is i love this lens. It took me some time to get used to shoot it, but once you've learn its amazing.

Love this lens

Compared Nikon lens and Sigma.  After evaluation came up to a conclusion that Sigma is better on my D3. Took great photos of night Manhattan.

Great lens

They finally released it for the 1.6 crop digitals and it was worth the wait. Its a little on the expensive side but it has been a blast to use. Focus is very quick and very sharp for a fisheye. Too bad its only 167degrees for the canon but oh well. My only complaint is the lens cover/cap is difficult to get on and off and you feel like you have to pull the whole front of the lens off to get it to come lose, also a pain that you cant use a filter to keep the glass from getting dirty so easy but other than that its been a blast so far.
