Really like this lens. Fast focus..not too much searching. Switch on lens allows you to select focus distance to limit searching. A little heavy but seems well built. lens cap stays on. Hood and case provided as well as free filter and cleaning kit included from Adorama. Takes care of all my macro requirements and some of the telephoto shots too.

This is a great lens for macro work. After purchasing it I added a Nikon SB 600 speedlight and it also added to the great performance. The lens does not feel near as heavy as I thought it might. I am currently using it with my D80. Prior to this lens I used the Nikon 60mm Macro 2.8. I loved that lens and got some great shots with it but would not go back!!! Having the extra working distance is wonderful and worth the cost. I had looked at a lot of shots on a Sigma 150mm Macro website and was convinced that this was the lens for me. I considered two of the Nikons - the 105mm VR macro and the 200mm macro but this seemed to be in the middle as far at focal length and cost so after much research it is the one. I am very happy with this lens and expect to see even better results as I get more familiar with it. Have just had it 4 days.
